Art of Stepping® (AOS) — A Division of Remo System, Inc. Established in 2006, Art of Stepping® (AOS) is an innovative arts education organization specializing in Step, body percussion, cultural dance, and movement-based learning for students in grades K–12. Through our proprietary REMO System® teaching methodology, AOS transforms the traditional art of stepping into a structured educational experience that integrates rhythm, mathematics, literacy, cultural history, teamwork, leadership, and social-emotional learning. Our interactive programs celebrate the rich traditions of African American stepping while promoting cultural awareness, creativity, physical fitness, confidence, and student engagement. AOS offers customized in-school and after-school residencies, interactive workshops, school assemblies, cultural performances, professional development, educator certification, and curriculum licensing. Our programming supports diverse learning styles and welcomes students of all experience levels. As a New York City Department of Education vendor and certified Minority- and Women-Owned Business Enterprise (MWBE), Remo System, Inc. partners with schools and educational organizations to deliver engaging, culturally responsive arts experiences.
